<label xml:space="preserve">Select one or more shapes (paths, rectangles, circles, groups of them), then run the extension. Each shape is filled with a relief pattern of "Y" figures drawn on an isometric grid, and the lines are cut exactly at the edge of the shape. Holes (compound paths) stay empty.
|

Edge length: size of the unit edge of the grid. The pattern repeats every 5 edges, so a larger value gives a coarser pattern. Rotation turns the whole pattern around the pattern origin.
|
|
|
|
Pattern origin: "Center of each shape" puts a grid node at the center of every shape, so each shape shows a symmetrical pattern. "Document origin" anchors the grid at the top-left corner of the page, so neighbouring shapes show one continuous pattern.
|
|
|
|
The result is a group placed just above the shape, holding one path per shape. Tip: with a very small edge length on a large shape the pattern has many lines; the extension refuses more than 250 000 segments.</label>
